Final Genre Decision

 Hello blog welcome back. We have conducted research on three separate genres. Now, the time has come to choose which genre will be the one for our movie. We want our movie's intro sequence to be something marvelous. Something shocking in a way that is memorable. That being said, we have chosen the horror genre for our intro sequence. This decision took several meetings with our group to finally come to a common consensus. We fully understand what it takes to make a horror movie. We have researched all of the common elements and we plan to create something of the highest quality. This decision was not easy to make. Our group loves action movies just as much as we love horror. The final deciding factor was the accessibility. Great action movies like The Avengers for example take huge teams and many months to create. Not to mention the budgeting behind those movies as well. We believe we can efficiently and cost-effectively make a horror movie intro sequence that will be amazing. Horror movies tend to be the worst rated movies overall with an average of 43% on rotten tomatoes in 2023. That being said, we will still make something amazing. Just wait and see.   For the past week the group has been researching various thriller movies, the movie we're researching at the moment is the Texas Chainsaw Massacre.   The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM) is a long term favorite amongst scare enthusiasts and has touched the hearts of millions of fans. However, the most recent installment of the series is poorly rated by many due to its poor storyline. The TCM is a scary film and has some notable scenes that draw out fear in the audience but lack of interesting storyline makes it bland and unentertaining. Production Blog (Planning)

 Hey Blog. This week has not been much work yet. Me and my group have been talking trying to plan out our filming. We plan to meet and film soon. We have one issue that has risen as of recently. For our video to work out how we want it we're going to need a new person. We need one person to kidnap. One person to film. One person to drive the car at the beginning. And finally, one person to get kidnapped. We have no one that wants to be kidnapped at the moment. We have a couple people that we might be able to rely on. They are all in other classes. Meeting with them and getting something set up might be hard. We want to make the kidnapped person a girl. We feel as though the intro sequence would be a bit scarier if a girl was taken. I believe our group will meet soon. We do not have too much time as Anthony is very busy. Anyways, that is all for now. Bye blog.

Planning Blog: Location, Participants, Health, Schedule

 Participants: Anthony Villegas Vasquez, Rene Salmeron Reyes, Julian Pacheco Location: Our group is quite fortunate when it comes to our location. We all have reliable transportation. We also live not too far from each other. Our houses are in good locations. We have chosen to film in Anthony’s area. We’re not sure of the exact location at the moment. Our film will take place at night though. Schedule:  By 02/20 we will be meeting consistently to properly plan out our filming  By 02/27 we will have begun filming our first takes of the intro sequence  By 03/05 we will have filmed everything and will soon begin editing  After these dates there are a few things still to be done. We will be editing the video alongside preparing for the CCR. Health: For the most part our film shouldn’t be too dangerous.
