 Hi blog. How are you? I’m doing great. This should be one of the final production blogs.  This is because everything is complete. Me and my group plan to get together sometime soon. To watch over the video a couple times. This is just to see if we missed anything or could add anything in. Other than that though there isn’t much to do. Right now I am just preparing to write my reflection. When me and my group do get together though we have to translate the song as it is in Spanish. We chose the song because it didn’t have any profanity. And we all speak Spanish. My group mate Tony is back from his trip to Colombia now. I plan on meeting with them November 1st. Until then, I will watch the video myself. I also might begin on the translation. The translation might be difficult because the artist is notorious for being hard to understand. However, I’ll try my best. My Spanish isn’t great so I’ll have to check with Tony when he gets back. That’s all for now blog. Until next time.

 Hey blog. How are you. I’m doing great. My music video is entering its closing act. All that’s left are some final revisions. I am taking part in that. As well as my group mates. The filming all went swell. I have a group mate currently in Colombia. So we are waiting to finalize everything. Editing is pretty much done. So is sound design. And the transitions. As well as the filming. We ended up not having to refilm anything. Everything came out perfect. If I had one thing to say I’d make it longer. Our video is a little over 70 seconds. As of right now at least. Anyways that’s all for now. Bye blog.

 Hey blog. How’s it goin. Our project has been at a standstill. For me at least. After our film day there hasn’t been much to do. For me to do I mean. That’s because I’m not involved with the editing. I’m also not involved with the sound design. I have been giving ideas on how to implement some things though. For example some quiet parts. Also the music. We have a few jumpcuts that my friends have to edit in. We haven’t yet scheduled another film day. There’s not much more to do though. All there would be to film is transitions. Or if we messed anything up we could fix it. Other than that, not much has been going on. I’ve been focusing on other schoolwork and my teammates have been editing. We’re scheduled to be done in about a week. Until then, bye blog.

 Hi blog. We began recording on Tuesday October 17th. My role has mainly been recording. I have been setting up the tripod. Also the lights I have been setting up. We went to McDonald’s as one of our locations. That was at the end of the video. Another part of my role was helping pick out the outfits. That was our main prop. We used a total of four outfits as props. We also used McDonald’s cups as props. Filming on this day took about 5 hours. We did it at our group mates house and at McDonald’s. I haven’t been involved much in the editing. I helped decide to use CapCut though. Until our next film day I don’t have much to do. I’m not great at editing so I don’t take part in that. That’s been about it though so far. Bye blog. Until next time.

 Hey blog. With the old project behind me, production for my music video has begun. Production has been a bit of a struggle as of now. It’s been hard working around my group mates’ schedules and forming a plan with that. However, we made it work. My role in the video is a lot of shooting and not so much being an actor. I’ve never been one to do acting much. We have designated that role to one of our members. My group has also been experimenting with different editing softwares. We have not yet decided however there is still time. It is important to note that we did change our song from the original. We had started with “it was a good day” but we changed it because of curse words. Our new song we resonate much more with as well. It has also been hard learning editing. That however isn’t mainly my job. Our location is mainly at our group mate Tony’s houses. This is because he has a lot of the props necessary in his house. He also has a car. Anyways that is all.  Planning Props: The props on this film will be aimed to be vintage as well as small accessories to make each one of the outfits stand out the most outfits around and make them be like attention grabbers like a flip phone or vintage bags as well as hats and many other items. Location: The video will have different scenes they will have different settings some of this will possibly be, thrift stores, the one more chance vintage shop, as well as some malls and clothing stores, we also have the idea of going to las Olas Fort Lauderdale Florida. Schedule: Filming Saturday the 14th of October 2023 starting at 10 Am and it is planned to end by 8PM Back up plan: Weather should not be a factor on our filming process because we have indoor settings as well as outdoor settings and we are aware that if we have to stop filming outside due to weather we can go to a indoor setting to continue our filming process. Worst case scenario we are willing to move the date of filming for a few days and still

 Hey blog. Our last project making a commercial is over. That being said, it’s time to begin the creation of my group’s music video. I have chosen to work with two of my friends. One is Rene Reyes. The other is Anthony Villegas or Tony. I chose to work with them because I know them both to be hardworking. I trust that they will contribute to the video. I believe we can create something great together. I wouldn’t have chosen to work with them if they were not hardworking. Together we chose the song  “Yo visto asi” by Bad Bunny. We would have to use the clean version of the song to abide by the rules however. We decided on this song for a few reasons. All of us are very familiar with the hip hop genre. We also believe we can succeed in story telling with this song. The lyrics are very adaptable to what we have planned. We went through a couple of songs but ended up choosing this one. It’s a very popular song. I’m excited for what’s to come in this project. Bye blog.

 Hi! My name is Julian Pacheco, and I am 16 years old. My birthday is October 27th, 2006. I work at Chipotle and I got the job because my favorite food is Mexican food. My dream car is an Acura NSX, its a sports car and I really like going fast. I also like skateboarding I try to whenever I can although it's hard sometimes due to work and school. Skateboarding however is not my main hobby. My main hobby is playing soccer. I play soccer with my friends every weekend. I'm not great at it but being Colombian, I grew up appreciating the sport and it's the only sport I like to play. Most of my time is spent with my girlfriend, we've been dating for almost two years. I also have 4 siblings, 3 younger sisters and 1 older brother. My older brother is 20 years old and I've looked up to him for most of my life.
