 The process of creating this commercial has taught me a lot. Before beginning this project I knew nothing about technology. Nothing about video editing. Nothing about sound design and transitions. Creating this commercial provided me with a new outlook on content creation. Maybe had I learned about this sooner, I could consider a profession in the cinematography field. Nonetheless, I learned a lot and I hope I can go on to use what I’ve learned in any future endeavors I may have. I didn’t only learn about technology though. I also learned about the processes involved in project building. Putting together a project in film is different than any “project” I’ve done before. There’s a lot more little meticulous things that go into it. Like, transitions, overlapping audios, etcétera. Completing this project after several trials in my production process left me with a great feeling of accomplishment. Not everything was sunshine and rainbows with this project though.  Hey blog. This is my last production blog for this project.  I am almost done just doing finishing touches now. The process was steady at some parts. All I’ve been doing as of recent is just touching up. Mainly the sound and music. That’s been the hardest part. I have chosen all of my videos. My commercial is about me from a baby to now. I have videos of me doing things I like. For example, of me skating. I have a photo of me when I was really young. I also have photos of me when I am more grown. Production overall has been a process I haven’t done before. I’ve never worked with editing or collage like work. It’s definitely a learning experience. I will definitely go on to use some of the experience I’ve gained. Making a commercial isn’t as easy as I thought. The main trouble is advertising myself. It would’ve been easier to advertise a product. Bye blog.

 Hey blog. Very bad news today. I was quite close to finishing my commercial when I came to a realization. I made a tragic mistake in my production process. In my last blog, I mentioned that I had changed the topic of my commercial. I was wrong in this decision. This is because I completely overlooked the fact that it is supposed to be about me. I was right in my original plan. My original plan was to make it about myself. The good news is I can simply go back to where I had left off in my original plan. I’m upset because I liked what I had going. I thought I had a great commercial but oh well. All I can do now is move forward. I still have to pick one more picture and one more video for my commercial. I’m struggling to figure out how to piece it all together. I understand that it’s supposed to be about me. I don’t understand exactly what I have to advertise. I’m a bit lost but I still have time. I’m gonna make this work. Until next time blog.

 Production has still been a steady process. I have been very precise in my production process. I have been taking my time. Taking my time has allowed me to make steady progress. In the past, I have rushed things and it never went well. I did some trials with other editing softwares. One of these being iMovie. iMovie didn't work so well for me. It was after this that I decided to use CapCut. CapCut is very easy to use. Putting together the commercial does take time. I don't have much experience with editing and things like that. I have been finding trouble with integrating my song with my photos and videos. I might change it to a song without lyrics. The lyrics have been getting in the way of my ad. I’ve also changed the topic of my commercial. I’m now going to advertise disinfecting wipes. I changed it because a commercial about myself wasn’t working. Advertising a product is a lot easier. I wish I would have began with the same mentality.

 Hi! Production for my commercial has been going well. The filming hasn’t been an issue. I’ve had some friends record me at some points. I’ve also set up a tripod and recorded myself. The editing hasn’t been a problem with CapCut. It’s not hard to merge videos and pictures on there. On CapCut they also make it easy to add a song. I’ve been spending a decent amount of time on this commercial. However, it has been fun. I’ve been learning a lot about filming. I’ve also been learning a lot about editing. I’ve gained a new appreciation for the field of movie making and filming. It’s a fun hobby and would definitely be a good job. I haven’t yet begun on my reflection. I also am still making tweaks and adjustments to my commercial. The reflection sounds like it won’t be a problem. My only issue so far is I haven’t been able to love what I’ve done. I feel like a perfectionist that can’t be happy with their craft. Overall, the production has been going well. It definitely has its challenges tho

 The process of picking out the things for my commercial has felt natural. It hasn't been very hard and hasn't taken a lot of time either. When the topic is myself it's pretty easy. The song I chose was Instant Crush by Daft Punk. I chose this song because I grew up listening to it. This song resonates with me a lot and it was an easy pick for me. Picking the videos was not an issue either. I chose some videos of myself as well as some friends and family. The photos I chose were just photos of me and also family members and friends. The research wasn't a problem at all. I say this because there wasn't really anything to research. There wasn't anything I needed to research about myself that I didn't already know. Planning was a literal different. I had to think about where I was going to place each of the components. I also had to plan out how I was going to edit it and what I was going to do for overlapping audios. I expected to have more trouble with the pl

Hi! My name is Julian Pacheco, and I am 16 years old. My birthday is October 27th, 2006. I work at Chipotle and I got the job because my favorite food is Mexican food. My dream car is an Acura NSX, its a sports car and I really like going fast. I also like skateboarding I try to whenever I can although it's hard sometimes due to work and school. Skateboarding however is not my main hobby. My main hobby is playing soccer. I play soccer with my friends every weekend.
